Biography
Dr. Sajib Kumar Saha is a Research Scientist at the commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), Australia. He is an honorary research fellow at the Doheny Eye Institute, University of California-Los Angeles (UCLA), USA. He is an adjunct Sr. Lecturer at the Murdoch University, Australia.
His research focuses on artificial intelligence and image processing for automated detection, prediction and progression analysis of sight threatening eye diseases, and machine learning for clinical decision support. He has a PhD in Biomedical Imaging from the University of New South Wales, Canberra, Australia. He obtained dual master’s degree in Imaging and Computer Vision from the University of Jean Monnet, France and Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Norway. He did his master thesis in Technicolor R&I, France. Dr. Saha obtained his Bachelor of Science (honours) in Computer Science and Engineering from Khulna University.
Dr. Saha has published numerous articles in the form of peer reviewed journals, book chapters and conference proceedings. His research interests and expertise include biomedical signal processing and analysis, computer vision, medical imaging, machine/deep learning and image processing in general.
