Biography
Next Position after Training Completion: Instructor at Baylor College of Medicine.
Dr. Wong was a postdoctoral research fellow in Harvard Ophthalmology AI Lab from October 2019 to October 2020. He is interested in retinal prosthesis. At ANU, he joined the Bionic eye project and his PhD thesis title was “Retinal Ganglion Cells: Physiology and Prosthesis”. His first postdoctoral training was at the University of Chicago. He felt so lucky to join Dr. Bozhi Tian’s lab. They have worked on neuronal stimulation with newly designed nanoparticles. At Schepens Eye Research Institute, he was in Dr. Tobias Elze’s lab to learn some more methods to analyze clinical data with deep learning. He transferred to Baylor College of Medicine to continue with brain research.
