Biography
Next Position after Training Completion: PhD Student at Washington University in St. Louis.
Dian Li was a Research Assistant at Harvard Ophthalmology AI Lab from December 2016 to November 2019. He received his Master’s degree in electrical and computer engineering at the University of Florida. His work involved analyzing clinical data from the LIFE-Adult-Study, Glaucoma Research Network (GRN), and the IRIS Registry. Under the mentorship of Dr. Tobias Elze, Dr. Mengyu Wang, and Dr. Lucy Shen, Dian acquired skills in modeling the relationship between clinical outcomes and imaging data, such as OCT, visual field, and fundus images of patients. He is currently pursuing his PhD in the Computational and Systems Biology program at Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine. His research focuses on learning single-cell transcriptomics and epigenomics sequencing analysis methods, particularly in relation to kidney diseases.
