Biography

Connor manages the Ophthalmology Data Science Research Group, directing clinical research endeavors that leverage immense datasets, most notably the IRIS database. Guiding a multidisciplinary team of accomplished biostatisticians, database programmers, and program managers, he supervises projects spanning a wide spectrum, from treatment efficacy assessment to addressing healthcare disparities. Prior to joining the team, Connor had a wide range of work experiences, including work in international energy trade, contributions to the design of Samsung’s audience segmentation algorithms, and involvement in testing during the developmental stages of the IXPE spacecraft. Connor’s most recent research assessing conversion rates from dry to wet AMD was presented at ARVO 2022.
