Biography

Chanbin graduated from the University of Rochester, where he earned a BA with highest distinction in Chemistry. He was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. As an undergraduate, he pursued his interest in ophthalmology at the advanced physiological optics lab (University of Rochester). After graduating from college, he has served patients at the Flaum Eye Institute as an ophthalmic technician and has worked remotely on a project in Dr. Elze’s lab. He is very thankful for the mentorship from his mentors in the lab, and hopes to become a compassionate physician and a mentor in the near future.
