Dr. Tobias Elze was awarded a Research to Prevent Blindness Grant. The topic of the project is “Association between retinal structure and age-related impairments”. The project is aimed to develop methods to use eye imaging in order to detect impairments associated with age related diseases, such as glaucoma and AMD, at earlier stages than currently possible, ideally even prior to the manifestation of the respective impairment.
