Biography
Wendi Zheng is an undergraduate student at Harvey Mudd College studying mathematics and computational biology, with an interest in neuroscience and philosophy. She joined the Harvard Ophthalmology AI lab in July 2024 and is researching under the supervision of Dr. Mengyu Wang. Her research focuses on the application of adversarial attack models on convolutional neural networks to preserve privacy in fundus imaging. Wendi has also previously applied machine learning techniques to optimize the use of Traditional Chinese Medicine for treating Alzheimer’s Disease. She is interested in pursuing clinical AI research projects during her undergraduate studies and bridging the fields of AI technology and medicine.
