Biography

Next Position after Training Completion: Assistant Professor of Computer Science at University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Min Shi earned his PhD in Computer Science from Florida Atlantic University, USA, where his research interests include machine learning, deep learning and network analysis. During his previous postdoc training at Washington University, his research was focused on developing machine learning and graph learning theory and algorithms for addressing critical challenges such as graph embedding learning, biological network modeling, single cell RNA-seq data mining, etc. He joined Dr. Wang’s Lab as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in March 2022. In the Mengyu Wang Lab, he mainly works on developing statistical and machine learning methods for research projects in ophthalmology and visual science.
