Biography

Dr. Wong was a postdoctoral research fellow in Harvard Ophthalmology AI Lab from October 2019 to October 2020. He is interested in retinal prosthesis.  At ANU, he joined the Bionic eye project and his PhD thesis title was “Retinal Ganglion Cells: Pyhsiology and Prosthesis”.  His first postdoc training at UChicago. He felt so lucky to join Prof. Bozhi Tian’s lab.  They have worked on neuronal stimulation with newly designed nanoparticles.  At SERI, he was in Prof. Tobias Elze’s lab to learn some more methods to analyze clinical data with deep learning. He transfered to Baylor College of Medicine to continue with brain research using octopatch and RNA sequencing techniques.
