Dr. Tobias Elze was awarded an NSF grant as a co-Principal Investigator. The topic of the project is “ STTR Phase I: A Pair of Linked Cartographic Maps of our Brain Derived from Clinical Glaucoma Data”. Glaucoma is a major cause of irreversible blindness but can be addressed with early detection, but existing tests can be tiring and difficult and require specialized equipment. We develop an entirely novel approach to glaucomatous vision testing which is kinetic, binocular and based on neuroscientific models. Please find the grant details and abstract here.
